How To Get Your Parents To Like Your Boyfriend

So, I’ve been tossing around this question for the past couple of weeks and struggling with how to deal with this issue.

With making friends, boyfriends, girlfriends (or whatever) comes the pressure of approval by your parents. If you’re anything like me, the approval from my parents is a very important thing. Whether or not your parents approve could make or break the relationship. The same questions apply when it comes to your closest friends.

But what if you really like or care for and love the person you’re with, and your parents and/or friends are completely against it? Then what?

Listen here as I discuss certain techniques on how to get your parents/friends to approve of who you choose to see and to be with, and how to introduce your significant other (it’s not as scary as it seems).

My Paranormal Stories

unnamed

A creepy house my sister, Melanie, found in Pennsylvania on her trip to New York this past summer 2014.

Last night, I was listening to Coast to Coast AM as they were discussing haunted objects. They brought up such things like haunted furniture, dolls, mirrors, etc. I have to say… I was a little frightened at the thought, especially after seeing so many movies lately about the possession of an inanimate object.

The guest speaker was a man and woman (I’m awful at remembering names) who own a museum full of haunted things, quite like the one that Lorraine Warren has (Okay, I only remember that name from the movie, The Conjuring). Both the man and woman were telling stories of people who mostly purchased these possessed items from thrift stores and garage sales, which kind of scares me since I love thrifting and second hand stores.

I think the scariest part about the tales was how real they all sounded. I have to admit… I believe in the paranormal, 100%. Some people would say it’s crazy, and some others may get into it a little too much. But I have quite a few tales of my own that I’d like to share with you all.

Happy Halloween!
